She has a special place in her heart for first-time homebuyers, guiding them through what can feel like an overwhelming process with patience and clarity. Sonya's true specialty, though, is complex scenarios, she's particularly skilled at working with self-employed borrowers, digging into the details that other lenders might miss to get deals done right. Outside the office, Sonya spends her time with her husband, Russ, and their four-legged companions. She's a proud Texas Longhorns fan and loves any excuse to travel, especially back to San Francisco, one of her and Russ's favorite cities, and the place where they got married.
